SOPHE Celebrates 70 Years

The National REACH Coalition (NRC) congratulates the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) on their 70th anniversary! SOPHE has been an amazing partner of the NRC and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s REACH (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health) program for many years. By championing the cause of health equity and the elimination of racial and ethnic health disparities, SOPHE has ensured that the voices of the communities experiencing these disparities are amplified, and their community based efforts and successes made known at all levels, including with members of Congress.

The contribution of SOPHE to public health on a whole, and in particular to public health education, cannot be overstated. The National REACH Coalition salutes SOPHE and their Chief Executive Officer Elaine Auld on their 70 years of accomplishments and achievements. We look forward to their next 70 years!
