Ms. Galloway-Gilliam has played an active role in policy development on issues including: the expansion of healthcare coverage for children and families; preservation and improvement of the healthcare safety net; charity care and non-profit hospital conversion; environmental justice; health equity and the elimination of racial and ethnic health disparities.
