Jeff Bachar, Executive Director of Western North Carolina (WNC) AIDS Project. Jeff has worked in the field of public health for more than twenty years, most recently as Program Director of Cherokee Choices, a community based organization focused on health promotion and disease prevention among the Cherokee people of WNC.  Jeff began his public health career in Chicago, where he helped form an HIV/AIDS prevention and peer education program.  He has worked and volunteered with a variety of AIDS service organizations — including serving as a WNCAP Board member from 2000 – 2006.
