NRC-REACH Program Specialist
Chelsie White brings several years of experience working to alleviate health disparities on a domestic and international level to her role as NRC Program Specialist. She is responsible for providing support and technical assistance to NRC’s REACH grant sub-recipients. As a Survey Administrator for Yale University’s School of Public Health, she collected and analyzed primary health data on residents of high-risk neighborhoods. While in graduate school, she worked on the implementation of the Pennsylvania TRACKS nutrition education program in a Federally Qualified Community Health Center, which aimed to improve chronic disease outcomes for target low income, minority women. She has also traveled to Senegal, Africa, where she worked on health prevention strategy efforts to address the rising incidence of diabetes. Chelsie earned her Master of Science in Health Policy and Administration with a concentration on Population Health, and her Bachelor of Science in Bio-Behavioral Health from The Pennsylvania State University.
