Five New Grantees Funded for REACH

Great news! Due to increased funding for REACH in the FY2020 Appropriations Act, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (Alaska), Faith Formula Human Services (Texas), Leadership Council for Healthy Communities, Inc. (District of Columbia), Lowell Community Health Center (Massachusetts) and University of Hawaii (Hawaii) will receive funding through the Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health program (REACH). With the addition of these five recipients, CDC will now fund a total of 36 REACH communities for the remaining three years of the program. REACH recipients aim to advance health equity and accelerate the uptake of proven public health strategies that will reduce the burden of chronic disease in communities at greatest risk. Congratulations to the five new REACH grantees. The NRC looks forward to working with you!
